Would you rather work at a company where you get paid $50,000/year and everyone else gets paid $100,000/yr or a company where you get $45,000/yr and everyone else gets $35,000/yr? What about a company where you get $48,000/yr and everyone else gets $50,000/yr?

Would you rather get 1/2 of a 100g pie or 1/4 of a 240g pie?

How concerned should we be about the growing gap between the rich and the poor if the poor can be shown to be better off than they were before (but not as far better off as the rich have become)?

Martin attacks Layton for not attacking Harper. Seriously.

Meanwhile, in an effort to asuage voters that he's not going to destroy the country, Harper is trying to play down fears that the Tories will enact sweeping destructo changes if they win a majority government. His argument is that the Liberal appointed Senate, judiciary and civil service will keep him in check.
